Get ready for a tense encounter on the next episode of SBS’s “Buried Hearts”!
“Buried Hearts” tells the story of a man who manages to hack a political slush fund account worth 2 trillion won (approximately $1.4 billion) and the man who kills him without knowing he’s been hacked—thus accidentally losing the entire 2 trillion won. Park Hyung Sik stars as Seo Dong Joo, the leader of the Daesan Group chairman’s Public Affairs team.

Previously on “Buried Hearts,” Seo Dong Joo had the shock of his life when he attended the wedding of the Daesan Group chairman’s granddaughter—only to realize that the bride was his own girlfriend Yeo Eun Nam (Hong Hwa Yeon), whom he hadn’t known was related to the chairman.
In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming third episode, Seo Dong Joo unexpectedly runs into Yeo Eun Nam and her new husband Yum Hee Chul (Kwon Soo Hyun). Although Yum Hee Chul doesn’t know that Seo Dong Joo and Yeo Eun Nam were in a relationship, it was previously revealed that he and Seo Dong Joo were nemeses back in high school.
Seo Dong Joo’s gaze visibly wavers at the sight of Yeo Eun Nam, with conflicting emotions flitting across his face. In contrast to his usual composure, Seo Dong Joo is unable to hide his emotions when he sees his ex. Meanwhile, Yeo Eun Nam seems to be holding in her rage as she stares at someone with a cynical expression.
Finally, Yum Hee Chul looks defeated as he turns his gaze downward in despair, raising the question of whether he’s found out about his wife’s connection to Seo Dong Joo.
The “Buried Hearts” production team teased, “In Episode 3, which airs today, the entangled emotions and relationships between Seo Dong Joo, Yeo Eun Nam, and Yum Hee Chul will begin to grow turbulent. This will have an important impact on Seo Dong Joo’s counterattack against Yum Jang Sun, leading to a big wave in the drama’s upcoming plot.”
“Considering the importance of this scene, Park Hyung Sik, Hong Hwa Yeon, and Kwon Soo Hyun were very focused and gave detailed performances,” they continued. “Please show lots of interest and anticipation.”
