Upcoming drama “Heo’s Diner” has unveiled stills from its first script reading session!

The script reading was attended by directors Oh Hwan Min and Kim Kyung Eun, screenwriter Sung So Hyun, and cast members EXO’s Xiumin, WJSN’s Exy, Lee Sae On, Lee Soo Min, Kim Hee Jung, Oh Ji Ho, and Choi Won Myeong.

Xiumin took on the role of Heo Gyun, a brilliant writer with a keen eye for aesthetics. He fully immersed himself in the character, flawlessly capturing Heo Gyun’s speech and expressions as he navigates the modern world after his unexpected time slip.

Meanwhile, Exy shone as Bong Eun Sil, the outspoken daughter of a family that runs a small diner. Bold and passionate, Bong Eun Sil speaks her mind and refuses to tolerate injustice. Exy brought her to life with high-energy, dynamic acting, making the character even more compelling.

Lee Sae On left a strong impression in his dual role as Lee Yi Cheom, a ruthless and ambitious figure who stops at nothing to achieve his goals, and Lee Hyuk, the youngest Korean Master Chef.

Lee Soo Min also took on two roles, captivating the room as Mae Chang, a talented and beautiful entertainer, and Jung Mi Sol, a commercial star hiding a secret. Her seamless performance in both roles kept everyone engaged.

Veteran actors Kim Hee Jung, Oh Ji Ho, and Choi Won Myeong rounded out the cast, bringing depth and energy to the drama.

After the script reading, Xiumin shared his excitement, saying, “Reading with the cast feels like piecing together a puzzle—it all comes together in ways I couldn’t imagine alone. I’ll do my best to make the show fun and enjoyable.”

He also teased key moments to watch, adding, “Look forward to how Heo Gyun runs 'Heo’s Diner' and his unpredictable love-hate chemistry with Eun Sil.”

Exy expressed her enthusiasm by saying, “I’ll do my best not to be a burden to my fellow actors and staff.” She added, “‘Heo’s Diner’ is a vibrant drama filled with love, fun, and heartfelt moments. As befits the title, it also showcases delicious dishes and some rare traditional foods. I hope viewers will show lots of interest and love.”

“Heo’s Diner” is set to premiere on March 24 at 5 p.m. KST via Netflix.
