Amid speculations surrounding BIGBANG's G-Dragon's highly anticipated solo comeback date, his agency has briefly addressed the rumors.
On October 8, News1 reported that G-Dragon had set October 25 as the date for his solo comeback and is currently in the final stages of preparation. On the same day, another news outlet @Style reported that G-Dragon had begun filming the music video for his comeback on the evening of October 7, with the shoot expected to span three days.
In response to the reports, a representative from G-Dragon’s agency Galaxy Corporation stated, “While it is true that he is currently preparing for a comeback, the specific schedule has not yet been confirmed. We are still coordinating the comeback date, and nothing has been finalized regarding the October 25 solo comeback.”
G-Dragon’s upcoming solo album will mark his first release in over seven years, following his 2017 mini album Kwon Ji Yong.
Earlier on October 2, G-Dragon completed filming for tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block,” where he is expected to discuss his new album.
Additionally, yesterday, G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung were reported to perform as BIGBANG at the upcoming 2024 MAMA Awards.
