Upcoming drama “Hyper Knife” has unveiled a first look at Park Byung Eun’s character!
“Hyper Knife” is a medical crime thriller drama that depicts the fierce rivalry and growth of two crazy geniuses as Doctor Jung Se Ok (Park Eun Bin), who once had a promising past, and her former mentor Choi Deok Hee (Sol Kyung Gu), who caused her to hit rock bottom, reunite.
Park Byung Eun takes on the role of Han Hyun Ho, a pain management specialist and a dedicated doctor with a deep commitment to his patients. His unwavering humanitarian beliefs add depth and emotion to the character.
Running a private clinic, Han Hyun Ho prioritizes saving and helping patients over money or fame. Deeply compassionate, he admires and cares for Jung Se Ok, a shadow doctor known for her exceptional skill and passion. However, he struggles with the moral dilemma of overlooking her illegal surgeries.
Newly released character stills capture the various emotions of Han Hyun Ho, from his warmth as he gazes at Se Ok to his sharp, focused intensity in the operating room.
Park Byung Eun shared that he was immediately drawn to the script. Describing Han Hyun Ho, he called him “the most kindhearted and free of malice” among all the roles he has played, highlighting the character’s appeal. He added that Han Hyun Ho deeply respects Jung Se Ok for her dedication to saving lives but also feels sorrow that she cannot legally perform surgeries.
Park Eun Bin also described Han Hyun Ho as “the model of a good doctor, someone Se Ok respects as a person. But despite being close to her, he remains unaware of her true identity.”
