Upcoming drama “Hyper Knife” has shared a first glimpse of Yoon Chan Young's character!
“Hyper Knife” is a medical crime thriller drama that depicts the fierce rivalry and growth of two crazy geniuses as Doctor Jung Se Ok (Park Eun Bin), who once had a promising past, and her former mentor Choi Deok Hee (Sol Kyung Gu), who caused her to hit rock bottom, reunite.
Yoon Chan Young takes on the role of Seo Young Joo, Jung Se Ok's most reliable ally. Seo Young Joo is a character whose life was saved by Se Ok, and he stays loyally by her side, offering her unwavering trust and support. His dedication to helping Se Ok in any crisis goes beyond that of a typical ally, creating a strong bond and chemistry between the two.
The newly released stills capture a variety of Seo Young Joo's facial expressions, from playfully bickering with Se Ok to a resolute look that suggests he is ready to rush to her side in a moment of crisis.
Yoon Chan Young shared that the relationship with Se Ok was the most important aspect while portraying Seo Young Joo. He said, I had in-depth discussions with the director about how far Seo Young Joo could go in his interactions with Se Ok, and I believe we found the right balance, which allowed me to create chemistry with senior actress Park Eun Bin.
Park Eun Bin also praised Yoon Chan Young's portrayal, saying, It feels like Seo Young Joo was chosen by Se Ok. He is someone Se Ok would see as a presence that must always be by her side, no matter what. Yoon Chan Young developed Seo Young Joo in his own unique way, with his own vibe and style.
