Squid Game 2 star Jo Yu Ri may be starring in a new thriller series!
On January 7, a media outlet reported that Jo Yu Ri has been cast as the lead in the new drama Variety (literal title).
In response to the report, Jo Yu Ri's agency WAKEONE confirmed that she received a casting offer and is currently reviewing it.
Variety is a new thriller drama set in the idol industry and is the latest project by director Kim Yong Hoon, known for the hit Netflix series Mask Girl.
Jo Yu Ri garnered attention for her role as Jun Hee, the pregnant ex-girlfriend of Myeong Gi (Im Siwan), in the Netflix series Squid Game 2, which was released on December 26 last year.
