The production team of Buried Hearts has unveiled insights into the upcoming episode!
SBS’s “Buried Hearts” tells the story of a man who manages to hack a political slush fund account worth 2 trillion won (approximately $1.4 billion) and the man who kills him without knowing he’s been hacked—thus accidentally losing the entire 2 trillion won. Park Hyung Sik stars as Seo Dong Joo, the leader of the Daesan Group chairman’s Public Affairs team.

Previously, Seo Dong Joo fought back against Yum Jang Sun (Heo Joon Ho) by hacking his 2 trillion won political slush fund. Unaware of this fact, Yum Jang Sun ordered Heo Il Do (Lee Hae Young) to kill Seo Dong Joo. However, the ending of episode 3 ended with Seo Dong Joo's revival from a near-death experience, raising anticipation for Seo Dong Joo's next steps.
Ahead of the upcoming episode, the production team revealed that Seo Dong Joo will begin to pressure Heo Il Do. Seo Dong Joo will ominously ask Heo Il Do, You shot me, didn't you? causing Heo Il Do to fall into a great state of shock.
The production team shared, In today's (March 1) broadcast of episode 4, viewers should particularly focus on the movements of the revived Seo Dong Joo. Yum Jang Sun's and Heo Il Do's emotions will move up and down like a rollercoaster with the mere fact that Seo Dong Joo is alive and now taking action, creating great immersion amongst viewers. Please show lots of anticipation and interest in the triangle of greed between Seo Dong Joo, Yum Jang Sun, and Heo Il Do as well as the passionate acting of the three actors Park Hyung Sik, Heo Joon Ho, and Lee Hae Young who will depict this fiercely and profoundly.
Buried Hearts airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 p.m. KST.
