“Buried Hearts” tells the story of a man who manages to hack a political slush fund account worth 2 trillion won (approximately $1.4 billion) and the man who kills him without knowing he’s been hacked—thus accidentally losing the entire 2 trillion won. Park Hyung Sik stars as Seo Dong Joo, the leader of the Daesan Group chairman’s Public Affairs team.

Previously on “Buried Hearts,” Seo Dong Joo found out that his ex-girlfriend Yeo Eun Nam (Hong Hwa Yeon), the woman he once dreamed of marrying, was the granddaughter of Daesan Group chairman, and that she had ended their relationship to enter an arranged marriage with Yum Hee Chul (Kwon Soo Hyun), the nephew of Yum Jang Sun (Heo Joon Ho), a shadowy figure pulling the strings behind the scenes. Before Dong Joo could even process the betrayal, he was ambushed on Yum Jang Sun’s orders, left bleeding out, and pushed to the brink of death.
